One of the Ministry’s mandate is to protect and preserve the dignity of those who are less fortunate; the Minister, Hon. Desmond McKenzie, fulfils this mandate through the implementation of the Indigent Housing Program. In his Sectoral presentation he committed to building 28 Houses this financial year, for those persons who are unable to afford proper housing solutions and to date he has met 50% of this target.
