It’s official – Jamaica will host the 7th Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean in the year 2020 in the city of Montego Bay.
This is the first that a Conference of this magnitude will be hosted by a Caribbean Country.
The Hon. Desmond McKenzie made the official announcement at the closing ceremony for the 6th Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia.
